METROLOGY
Metrology covers all the techniques used to take measurements, interpret them and guarantee their accuracy. At 2IST, the Technology Division is responsible for tank gauging, tank geometry control and tank dimensioning. Our methods provide results with a high degree of accuracy of +/- 2mm.

TECHNICAL STUDY AND CONSTRUCTION
On order, we carry out technical studies and/or the construction of tanks and piping.
When it comes to technical studies, we are also involved in civil engineering, engineering, instrumentation, electricity, mechanics, etc.
NDT MONITORING
We carry out your ten-year and five-year inspections.
Using a variety of techniques (ultrasound, dye penetrant testing/PT, magnetic particle inspection, phase array, etc.), we check or inspect thicknesses and welds on tanks, pipes, pressure vessels, stainless steel, copper stills and non-ferrous metals. These different techniques enable us to search for and detect manufacturing faults, corrosion, cracks and deformations, etc.
INVENTORIES
The technologies we use enable you to control the availability of your raw materials or bulk finished products in stock with an accuracy of +/- 2mm. This, of course, makes it easier for you to monitor and plan.
3D DESIGNS
FARO 3D technology makes it easy to produce 3D plans of industry and buildings, as well as any other 3D digitisation and modelling.
